Weekends like this are birth control…

Easter came and went, and with it so did my entire family.  And their kids.  Need I say more?

More like, all three kids were under the age of 2, the husband of one my sisters did absolutely nothing to help, with either the kids (2 of them were his) or the housework (they were here for 5 days), he did spend a lot of time on the playstation or watching the hockey game though, so I guess that I can’t say that he did nothing.

But the constantness of the toddler was tiring.  Anyone with toddlers will tell you that, but until you live the constant chasing that is the toddler lifestyle, one cannot appreciate just how much the mothers of these small people go through.

There is no stop.  Except for naptime, which I think were invented as an evolutionary thing so that mothers wouldn’t eat their young.

So after everyone descended, ate their fill of chocolate, and turkey, and Small Town lifestyle, they went home.

And I slept.

And then lorded it over my sister with the two kids.

Because I’m nice like that.
